Taking a Break
Taking a Break
By: claycormany in Life in General
This blog is going on hiatus until at least January 1 of next year. There are two reasons for this break. First, I’ll be traveling a lot during the last months of 2023. That includes a cruise up the St. Lawrence River in October that will take the better part of 2 weeks. Although a laptop would make it possible to maintain a blog while traveling, I want to focus that time on other priorities, including seeing parts of the world I’ve never seen before outside of a National Geographic issue. Second, I want to spend more time on two other writing projects, specifically my YA novel Diary of a Girl in Trouble and my writing-oriented blog, Write Well Now. Parts of the novel have already been reviewed by Beta readers, and the whole book will soon enter that phase. At the same time, special issues that arise in the plot, such as the proper treatment of different allergies, need to be authenticated. Although there is no strict timeline for the book’s publication, it should be at or near that point when this blog is resumed. In the meantime, my Write Well Now blog will (if I can manage it) be attached as a component of this website. I also plan to take some online courses that will help me improve the quality of Write Well Now and draw more readers to it.
If you have not seen any postings in Write Well Now, I invite you to do so at Write Well Now – Clay’s thoughts and advice on writing well (writenows.com).
Best to All,
Clay
